Tripoint to Launch 3A Conference in 2026; Welcomes Capital City Seahawks as Inaugural Member

The Tripoint Football League is proud to announce the official launch of its Class 3A division, set to kick off in the 2026 season. This exciting expansion marks a major step forward for the rapidly growing league and signals a commitment to providing structured, high-level competition to emerging football markets across the country.

As the league lays the groundwork for this new chapter, the Capital City Seahawks have been named the inaugural member of the Tripoint 3A division. Based out of Washington D.C., the Seahawks are a force in the national semi-professional football scene and are expected to be a cornerstone franchise in the league’s new tier.

To help guide the development of the 3A division, the Tripoint League Office has appointed James Crowell as its’ dedicated 3A consultant. Crowell will serve as both the manager of the Class 3A division and an advisor to the league's executive team as Tripoint expands its footprint.

“I’m incredibly happy to be a part of a growing league like Tripoint,” said "Coach Crowe". “This is an exciting opportunity to help shape something new, and I’m looking forward to my role and responsibilities in building a division that reflects the league’s high standards. My goal is to help Tripoint continue to grow and expand into more markets that are in need of a well-run, well-organized, and business-savvy league.”

With a solid foundation being laid for 2026, the Capital City Seahawks will spend the 2025 season building their brand and testing their roster against some of the nation’s top independent and league-affiliated teams. Their 2025 campaign will take them across multiple states as they face off against elite competition in an effort to solidify themselves as a 2025 powerhouse while marketing the Tripoint’s new Class 3A conference.

• Woodland Tigers  (D.C.)
